I was pleased to hear an ambitious plan from Matthew Johnson in May of 2022. At the time, MAJicData was undergoing a business model makeover. A major part of the renovation was a refresh to their website featuring an expanded list of service options for their IT clients. Matthew did competitor research to create placeholder text for 55 landing pages. My job was to rewrite, expand, and optimize each landing page describing a particular service that the company provided.
That’s a lot of landing pages! I proposed splitting the project into six separate sections. My idea behind this was that we could touch base upon completion of each section so Matthew could give feedback on my progress. We exchanged feedback each time to make sure that everything was running smoothly. I gave him a specific timeline for each section and planned it accordingly so that I could finish up before I drove off for a beach vacation later that month.
In the end, everything turned out great! We were both happy with the results. I’m really impressed with how awesome MAJicData’s website looks today. If you want to see the different landing pages I helped write, hover over the navigation menus and click to see their services.
