This was another guest post I wrote for MobiDev for Hackernoon. This required me to step into the shoes of a startup owner to see how artificial intelligence can benefit a business. The trick behind these guest posts is to make them helpful and informational, demonstrating the expertise of the authoring business. However, although that business’s goal is to attract potential clients to work with them, the guest post can’t outright promote them. Instead, my goal was to showcase MobiDev’s expertise and plant effective and relevant links back to their website to boost their reputation and make it easier for readers to learn more if they became interested in working with them.
This project had the following main themes:
- Focusing on using AI for practical business needs instead of following the fad.
- How to properly use third party AI services and pre-trained models.
- How to leverage AI for marketing.
- Overcoming the challenges of adopting AI.
For most of these topics, I drew from my frustrations with seeing how businesses utilize generative AI these days. It seems as if a lot of businesses are just using AI for its own sake instead of producing practical reasons for it. When businesses don’t have good reasons for adopting AI, it just looks like yet another dumb gimmick. However, once they start creating new, innovative, creative solutions that solve real world problems, that’s where businesses really shine and take off.
